This shipping coverage outlines everything you need to know about how and when your order reaches you, what to expect, and what to do if something goes off track.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

We aim to dispatch each order within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your order confirmation, excluding Sundays or public holidays.

Once your order is shipped, deliveries may vary for each customer depending on location:

  • Metro Cities: 3 to 5 business days

  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 4 to 7 days

  • Remote or Rural Areas: 5 to 10 days

At Shamayas, we remain committed to delivering at the earliest and adhering to these timelines. Sometimes, delays may also occur in unusual situations due to factors like product availability, warehouse backlog, or courier disruptions.

Shipping Charges: What You’ll Pay

We care about our customers, which is why we remain transparent about our shipping charges. Here are some of the common shipping charges you can expect when shopping with Shamayas: 

  • For orders below ₹599: A flat shipping cost of ₹120 

  • For orders ₹599 and above: Shipping is completely free

  • Express Shipping (where available): If any extra charges apply, you can check them at the price breakdown during checkout

We continue to stay transparent with the final shipping amount without any surprises.

Where Do We Ship?

Currently, we are only delivering within India.

No matter where you are based in India, in metro cities or a village. If your PIN code is serviceable, our team of the best delivery partners will bring the products to your place without impacting the original quality.

Order Tracking: Track your order with a click 

Once your order is dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive tracking through email or SMS. You can follow the tracking link to track your shipment in real time through the ‘Track Order’ section on our website.

If you’ve ordered a couple of items, and they’re being shipped from exclusive suppliers, your order may arrive in separate packages. Each package will come with its very own tracking ID and status updates.

This helps us deliver parts of your order to you more quickly, rather than waiting for the entire order to be ready.

What If Your Location Isn’t Serviceable?

In some rare cases, our courier partners may not be able to deliver to your pin code. If that happens, we’ll cancel your order and issue a full refund within 3 to 5 days. No action is needed from your side. 

Shipping Delays: When Things Don’t Go As Planned

We make every effort to avoid any delays in shipping. But sometimes situations are out of hand. Here are some of the uncontrollable situations that can lead to delays:

  • Severe climate conditions

  • Strikes or government lockdowns

  • Courier service disruptions

  • Unexpected supplier delays

  • An incorrect address was provided by the customer

If your order is affected by any of these, we will inform you as soon as possible and keep you updated on the subsequent steps and updated delivery time.

Need to Change Your Shipping Address?

Need to change your shipping address? No problem, you have a short window to make the amendments. 

If you wish to update your shipping address, please send us an email at support@shamayas.com within 12 hours of placing your order. We are here to assist you with making the required change as per your request.

After the 12-hour window, address change requests cannot be guaranteed. If the package is already dispatched, it will be delivered to the original address submitted during checkout

Failed Delivery Attempts: What You Should Know

In case of failed delivery, our team of delivery partners will try to attempt and fulfill the order up to three times. Despite that, if they fail to deliver, your number is unreachable or the address is not right, the order will be sent back to the supplier warehouse.

In such cases, a ₹100 deduction will be made from your refund as a delivery and handling fee.

To avoid any such situation, you need to ensure that the address and contact you have given are correct before placing the order.

Cancelling an Order After It’s Shipped

Once an order is shipped, we can’t cancel it.

If you no longer need the item, do not accept the delivery of the products when the courier arrives. But always note that ₹100 will be deducted as a return processing fee when your refund is issued.

If you want to cancel your order, make sure to do it before it is shipped. Reach out to the support team to cancel the order without any charges.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

In case your product is damaged or lost during shipping, we have got your back with end to end support. 

  • For lost parcels: We will issue a full refund or alternative options at no extra cost applied.

  • For damaged items: Please share an unboxing video and contact us within 24 hours of receiving the order. We will evaluate your request and take possible action either by sending you a new product or refunding you.

Without the unboxing video, we may not be able to validate the damage claim, so be sure to record it while opening your package.

Proof of Delivery

Our delivery partners may mark your parcel as “delivered” primarily based on photo evidence or GPS-tagged confirmation. If you haven’t received your order but received the notification of “Delivered” status. Reach out to our support team within 48 hours.

Delay in reporting the issues may lower the chances of resolution, especially when the delivery partner marks it as delivered.
