Not everything always goes according to plan. That's normal. We made this returns and refunds policy to be fair to customers while protecting our business too.

Here's what you need to know about returns and refunds.

When Can You Request a Return?

We only accept returns under specific circumstances. You can ask for a return or exchange if any of these things happen:

  • We sent you the wrong item

  • Your product came broken or not working

  • Clothes or shoes don't fit right

  • Parts of your order are missing

For all these cases, you must send us a video of you opening the package. This video must clearly show the problem. We need this video every time. It helps prove what went wrong and keeps things fair for everyone.

What You Cannot Return

Some products can't be returned for health and safety reasons. We can't take back:

  • Beauty products

  • Personal items such as underwear, socks, etc.

  • Earrings or nose rings, which are body jewellery

  • Sport equipment like yoga mats, weights, and exercise bands

  • Custom-made products ordered just for you

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or special deal products

Important note: Even these items can be returned if they arrive broken or wrong. You still need to show us an unboxing video that proves the issue exists.

If you attempt to return used items or tamper with the packaging to create problems, we will prevent you from purchasing from us again. We check for this kind of behavior to keep honest customers safe.

Return Timeline: 48-Hour Window

You have exactly 48 hours after receiving your order to request a return. We won't accept requests after this time limit ends.

Here's how to start a return:

  • Sign in to your Shamayas account and find 'My Orders.'

  • Send an email to support@shamayas.com with your order number and unboxing video

  • Text us on WhatsApp at 7009240054 or message us on Instagram @shamayas.in

Your message should include the issue, your order details, and a link to the unboxing video. We will not accept returns without video proof.

Conditions for a Successful Return

Our only condition to have your product back when it follows these rules:

  • It is something that has never been used, worn, or washed

  • All original price tags are still attached

  • Everything comes back in the original box or packaging

  • You include the receipt or invoice with the return

If any of these rules are broken, such as missing tags, damaged packaging, or signs that you used the product, we will reject the return.

Pickup and Reverse Logistics

After we approve your return request, we will come pick up the item from your address. This usually happens within two to four working days.

Sometimes we can't pick up from your area. If that happens, you have to ship the item back yourself. Once we receive your package and check it, we will refund you up to ₹70 for shipping costs.

Refund Process

Once we receive your returned item and verify its condition, we begin processing your refund. This takes 7 to 10 business days to complete.

We will send your money back using the same payment method you used to buy the item. Sometimes we use UPI or bank transfer instead.

Important: For orders paid online ahead of time, we take out ₹100 for return shipping costs. We might also subtract discount amounts or coupon values from your total refund.

We tell you about these fees upfront so you know exactly what you'll get back.

Bonus for Prepaid Orders

Shamayas gives you 5% off when you pay online before delivery. Paying ahead of time not only gets you an instant discount but also helps our business avoid losses from refused packages. This is our way of saying thank you for helping us deliver orders more smoothly.

Return-to-Origin (RTO) Policy

Sometimes packages get sent back to us for these reasons:

  • Customer refuses delivery at the door

  • Multiple delivery attempts fail

  • Wrong or incomplete address given

When this happens, we call it "Return to Origin." We will charge ₹100 for return shipping from any future refunds or store credit you have.

We also track customers who frequently refuse packages. These customers might need to pay online for future orders before we ship them.

This policy protects our delivery partners and business from unnecessary costs.

Protecting Honest Customers Like You

Returns cost everyone time and money. We want a policy that helps real customers while stopping people who abuse the system.

Here's what we do:

  • Make returns simple for real problems with proof

  • Give discounts to customers who pay online first

  • Watch for customers who make fake or repeated bad returns

We look for patterns that show someone is misusing our return policy. When we find this, we take action to keep our system trustworthy.
